Valentine's Day. I meant Valentine's Day.

I had this text conversation with a friend this morning (who is married with four kids). I literally cried laughing when I realised what she thought I meant. And then I went to Bunnings after all.

hi
I am no-one special but I read your blog every month or so and I really love it. Very encouraging. So I thought this card was suitable for you for valentine's or VD as you like to call it.

Anyway, I think it is an injustice that no-one got you anything or asked you out.

Tee hee, that is quite funny :) And also funny that the mother of 4 didn't twig that you were talking about Valentine's Day. I can relate. Nothing much out of the ordinary happened here either....husband took one kid to a swimming carnival while the rest of us hung around doing pretty much nothing at home ;)

Yes, that was amusing, and the whole thing really is contrived. We had ordinary coffee in Bunnings (though i am quite the fan of Bunnings). Then i went to a multicultural festival and i reckon just about everyone else alive was there anyway - extreme crowds!
